Alfred Landé

Alfred Landé (* 13. Dezember 1888 in Elberfeld (heute ein Stadtteil von Wuppertal); † 30. Oktober 1976 in Columbus, Ohio, USA) war ein deutscher Physiker. Er arbeitete u. a. auf dem Gebiet der Quantenphysik und Spektroskopie und beschrieb 1921 den nach ihm benannten Landé-Faktor. Außerdem ist die Born-Landé-Gleichung zur Hälfte nach ihm benannt.
