Amsterdam-Insel
Die Amsterdam-Insel (französisch Île Amsterdam, auch Nouvelle Amsterdam, niederländisch Nieuw Amsterdam) ist eine Insel im südlichen Indischen Ozean. Sie gehört politisch zum französischen Überseeterritorium Terres australes et antarctiques françaises (kurz TAAF). Die Insel ist bis auf eine Forschungsstation unbewohnt.
