Aostatal
Die Region Aostatal (italienisch Valle d’Aosta, französisch Vallée d’Aoste; frankoprovenzalisch Val d’Oûta; walserdeutsch Augschtalann oder Ougstalland; deutsch veraltet Augsttal) ist eine autonome Region mit Sonderstatut in Italien. Die Region, amtlich Regione Autonoma Valle d’Aosta – Région Autonome Vallée d’Aoste, hat eine Fläche von 3262 km² und 123.360 Einwohner (Stand 31. Dezember 2022). Sie ist somit die kleinste Region Italiens, sowohl flächen- als auch bevölkerungsmäßig. Die Hauptstadt ist Aosta (französisch Aoste).
