Armatus

Flavius Armatus (altgriechisch Ἁρμάτος; † 477 in Konstantinopel) war ein oströmischer Militärbefehlshaber, magister militum unter den Kaisern Leo I., Basiliskos und Zenon sowie Konsul. Er war an der Usurpation des Basiliskos gegen Zenon ebenso beteiligt wie an dessen Sturz.
