Avarua
Avarua ist die Hauptstadt der im Südpazifik gelegenen Cookinseln, die einen souveränen Staat im freiwilligen Verbund mit Neuseeland bilden. Die Hauptinsel Rarotonga hatte 2021 10.898 Einwohner und damit gut 2000 weniger als die 2011 gezählten 13.095 Einwohner.
