Butare
Butare ist eine Stadt im Distrikt Huye im Süden Ruandas und neben der Hauptstadt Kigali das kulturelle Zentrum des Landes. Butare hatte im Jahre 2001 etwa 47.000 Einwohner, 2005 dürften etwa 70.000 Menschen in der Stadt gewohnt haben.
