Colt-Thompson-Maschinenpistolen und -Selbstladewaffen
Die Colt-Thompson-Maschinenpistolen und -Selbstladewaffen sind Maschinenpistolen und nie in Serie hergestellte Selbstladegewehre, die von der von John T. Thompson im Jahr 1915 gegründeten Auto-Ordnance Corporation (USA) entwickelt und auf den Markt gebracht worden sind. Die 15.000 Maschinenpistolen wurden in den Jahren 1921/1922 von der Colt’s Patent Fire Arms MFG. Co hergestellt. Das Nachfolgemodell, die von Savage Arms und der neu gegründeten Auto-Ordnance Corporation Bridgeport (Connecticut) hergestellte Thompson-Maschinenpistole, wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg in großer Zahl eingesetzt.
