George Herbert, 5. Earl of Carnarvon

George Edward Stanhope Molyneux Herbert, 5. Earl of Carnarvon (* 26. Juni 1866 in Highclere Castle, Hampshire; † 5. April 1923 in Kairo), für gewöhnlich einfach als Lord Carnarvon bezeichnet, war ein britischer Aristokrat, der vor allem als Finanzier für die Ausgrabung des altägyptischen Grabes von Pharao Tutanchamun im Tal der Könige bekannt wurde.
