Hermann Graßmann

Hermann Günther Graßmann (* 15. April 1809 in Stettin; † 26. September 1877 ebenda) war ein deutscher Mathematiker, Physiker und Sprachwissenschaftler. Er gilt als eigentlicher Begründer der Vektor- und Tensorrechnung.
