Die Isostasie (‚Gleichstand‘, von griech. ἴσος (ísos) ‚gleich‘, und στάσις (stásis) ‚Stand‘) ist der geologische Gleichgewichtszustand zwischen den Massen der Erdkruste (bzw. Lithosphäre) und dem darunter befindlichen Erdmantel.
