Joseph „Joe“ Leslie Armstrong (* 27. Dezember 1950 in Bournemouth, England; † 20. April 2019) war ein britischer Informatiker mit Arbeitsgebiet fehlertolerante, verteilte Systeme. Er war der Erfinder der Programmiersprache Erlang.
