Nogaier

Die Nogaier (nogaisch ногай /noġaj/, ногайлар /noġajlar/; russisch ногайцы /nogaizy/) sind eine turksprachige Ethnie des Kaukasusgebietes. Sie sind ein westtürkisches Volk der kiptschakischen Untergruppe.

Weltweit gibt es rund 130.000 Nogaier, von denen die große Mehrheit, knapp 104.000, in Russland lebt.
