Palmiro Togliatti

Palmiro Togliatti ([palˈmiːro toʎˈʎatti] ; * 26. März 1893 in Genua; † 21. August 1964 in Jalta) war ein italienischer Politiker. Von 1947 bis 1964 war er Generalsekretär der Kommunistischen Partei Italiens (PCI) und ein führender Vertreter des Kommunismus.
