Seram-Python
Der Seram-Python (Simalia clastolepis, Syn.: Morelia clastolepis), auch Goldpython, zählt zur Familie der Pythons (Pythonidae) und wird dort in die Gattung der Rautenpythons (Morelia) gestellt. Die Art wurde erst im Jahr 2000 vom Amethystpython abgetrennt. Über die Biologie dieser auf Ambon und Seram beheimateten Schlange ist fast nichts bekannt.
