Snæfellsnes
Die Halbinsel Snæfellsnes [] liegt westlich des Borgarfjörður in Westisland. Die dünn besiedelte Halbinsel hat zahlreiche landschaftliche Schönheiten aufzuweisen und man hat sie schon das „Island in Miniatur“ genannt, weil sie auf kleinster Fläche alle Reize der großen Insel wiedergibt.
