Birdschand oder Birdjand (persisch بيرجند, DMG Bīrǧand, ‚Sturmstadt‘) ist die Hauptstadt der iranischen Provinz Süd-Chorasan (ehemals Subprovinz Birdschand) mit seinen 179.686 Einwohner (Stand: 2012), einer Landfläche von 88.404 km² (März 2004) und einer Einwohnerdichte von 7 Einwohner je km².
