Eric Whitacre

Eric Whitacre (* 2. Januar 1970 in Reno, Nevada) ist ein US-amerikanischer Komponist und Dirigent. Er komponiert für Chöre, Blasorchester und elektronische Musik.

Whitacres Kompositionsstil kann wie auch derjenige Morten Lauridsens als „neo-impressionistisch“ bezeichnet werden.
