Fredericton ist die Hauptstadt der kanadischen Provinz New Brunswick. Fredericton ist der Regional Service Commission 11 zugeordnet und liegt im historischen County York. Fredericton ist in 12 Wards bzw. Quartiers gegliedert.
Fredericton ist mit 63.116 Einwohnern (Zensus 2021) die drittgrößte Stadt der Provinz. Sie beherbergt zwei Universitäten. Die Stadt ist benannt nach Frederick Augustus, Duke of York and Albany (1763–1827), dem zweiten Sohn Georgs III. Die Fläche der Stadt betrug vor der Gemeindereform 2023 132,57 km².
