Plum Island ist eine US-amerikanische Insel im Atlantik. Die Insel ist Standort eines Hochsicherheitsforschungszentrums für Tierseuchen und -krankheiten. Administrativ gehört sie zur Stadt Southold in Suffolk County, New York. Die Insel liegt in der Gardiners Bay, nordöstlich von Long Island.
