The Fire Phone is Amazon's first foray into the smartphone market. The device boasts a 2.2 GHZ quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 4.7" 720P IPS display, and runs Fire OS 3.5.1, a custom operating system based on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean).

The Fire Phone features "Dynamic Perspective", a 3D display technology that uses four front-facing infrared cameras to create a sort of "depth" to the UI. It also features "Firefly", an app that uses various recognition technologies to identify over 100 million products, songs, and movies.
