Background
The DJI mini 2 is a lightweight drone with the ability to fly for 31 minutes and take 4k videos and photos. The DJI mini 2 was released in November of 2020, and currently has no plans for discontinuation. However, the DJI mini 3 was announced on April 2nd, 2022, and will feature a larger battery and obstacle avoidance sensors. This device was intended for people new to drones and wanting to explore landscape videos. The starting price of this device on the company's website is 449$ USD. Users say it is a good beginner drone as well as fairly priced.
The DJI Mini 2's camera can take 4K video at 30fps or 60fps with a 2.7K resolution. The drone has 4 motors one for each arm. Each of these motors spin two propellers that give the drone lift. The most common problems with the DJI Mini 2 are issues with the battery not charging or giving the charge, and the drone struggling to connect with the controller or the phone of a user has.
Identification
This device can be recognized by its small, compact design. Once the wings are unfolded, the device should say "Mini 2" on the right front wing. The serial number is on the back of the drone near the charging port and can be located on the inside of the rear panel.
