Background and Identification

The Motorola Razr V3, also known as the Motorazr V3, was the first Razr released into the market in the third quarter of 2004. Over 130 million Razr products were sold.

Razrs were initially marketed exclusively as fashion phones because of its sleek design. Once the price of the phone was lowered, it became immensely popular. The Razr began to be phased out in 2007 with Motorola's introduction of the Razr2.

The Razr was sold in several different models and colors all with a similar design. The Razr's specific model can be found inside the battery cover.

Only Cingular sold the V3 version of this phone. You can identify the V3 by looking for the Cingular logo on the back of the phone.

The V3 can also be identified by its .3 Megapixel camera, as later versions had a camera with higher a Megapixel count.
