Background and Identification
Samsung released the SGH-A117 in July of 2007. The main goal with this phone was that is was created to be user friendly and void of any complications. Its main purpose is for sending and receiving messages, calling, and being able to access basic functions. This model also comes with a speaker phone and a Web browser. It retails for $59.
This model has a Talk and an End key and a monochrome outward display. The volume button, headset jack, and charging port are located on the right side of the phone. The main display of the phone measures to about 1.75 inches. The display screen is on the dim side overall. The phone can also be personalized through the use of alert sounds, various choices of wallpapers, and customized greetings.
