Identification and Background

In 2006, XtremeMac released the Luna, a home audio system with AM/FM radio, iPod docking, and an alarm clock feature. The alarm clock includes adjustable volume and a custom snooze duration that can range from 1 to 60 minutes. The Luna also features adjustable bass/treble settings and an auxiliary port on the back. Luna's 2.75" display features date and time, alarm times, and current radio station. It has an adjustable brightness setting, and backlight can be deactivated.

Other XtremeMac docking audio systems include the Tango (2006), Luna X2 (2008), and the Luna SST (2010).

It is visually similar to its predecessor, the Tango, with a white plastic top and bottom and black grate around the sides. It has four silver rotating buttons for controlling volume and settings on the top of the unit, as well as an iPod docking port. The Luna only accepts 4th and 5th generation iPods.
