Identification and Backgroud
The iRobot Roomba 4160 is part of the Roomba 4100 series line of autonomous vacuuming robots. The 4160 model has 3 main input buttons located on the top, as compared to the Roomba 4100 which has two main input buttons located on the top, and is teal in color. Released in 2006, the Roomba 4160 uses a dual brush system, along with a rotating edge brush to collect dirt from along the edges of walls and baseboards. It has the ability to dock and recharge itself when the battery runs low, and can be preset to clean on a set weekly schedule.
The Roomba 4160 also uses the Virtual Wall system, allowing you to block off areas you do not want the Roomba to clean. It features a remote control, so you can easily control the Roomba from anywhere in your house.
