Background and Identification

The Pixel 6a is Google’s budget option for their popular line of smartphones and was announced in May 2022. Other than a less powerful rear camera and smaller screen, it has most of the same features as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. It also only has 6 GB of RAM compared to the Pixel 6's 8 GB and the Pixel 6 Pro's 12 GB. However, it runs on the same Google Tensor octa-core chipset.

The Pixel 6a starts at $449 and is available in Sage, Chalk, and Charcoal depending on region and carrier.
