How to Replace the Screen Adhesive on Your Switch Lite
Tools
These are some common tools used to work on this device. You might not need every tool for every procedure.
Background and Identification
Unlike the original Nintendo Switch, the Switch Lite is a pure handheld gaming console and cannot be docked or connected to a television. It also does not have removable Joy-Cons. Those sacrifices, however, come with the benefit of a much lower price point: $199, compared to $299.
While the Switch Lite’s integrated controls cannot detach—, the detachable Joy-Con controllers designed for the original Switch can still pair with the Switch Lite.
The Switch Lite is smaller and lighter than its predecessor, with a slightly smaller display. It also comes in a small variety of unique color options: yellow, grey, and turquoise.
The most often replaced Nintendo Switch Lite parts include the joystick, battery, screen, and USB-C port.
