The HP Star Wars Special Edition Laptop, released in April 2016, identified as model number: 15-an051dx. The outside of the unit has a matted finish, clean, well ventilated panel on the bottom. Artwork on the laptop is pristine, as it features a star wars theme, including graphical lettering embedded on the case. It also features some of the characters from the movie franchise, including a storm trooper and Darth Vader! On the inside, the star wars theme continues and what slightly different is that it has a more glossy feel to it and a trackpad designed with gridlines. No recalls found online though common issues with the device is its included HDD.

The HP Star Wars Special Edition has a matted finish, graphical designs through out the the body, inside and out, with embedded star wars lettering on in between the hinges by the bottom of the screens back panel. The device comes with a black backlit keyboard with red LEDs following its movie theme. On the bottom left hand side of the device, it has 2 USB-ports, 1 charging port, and 1 ethernet port. Also on the left hand side, it has a DVD-burner and an SD-slot. On the right, we have the power and drive indicator lights, 3.5mm headphone jack, another USB-port, and the HDMI port.
