Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing difficulties with your HyperXQuadCast S microphone, see the troubleshooting page to diagnose and resolve common problems.
Background
The HyperX QuadCast S microphone was manufactured by HyperX and released in September of 2020. This microphone was designed for gamers, and to fit their many different personalities and preferences. Unlike its predecessor, the HyperX QuadCast, the HyperX QuadCast S has additional RGB settings which users may adjust.
As said before, HyperX released the HyperX QuadCast microphone which was produced for PlayStation and PC. However, the biggest complaint about the QuadCast was that the RGB only would light up red. To solve this problem HyperX released The HyperX Quad cast S which is the second generation of the HyperX QuadCast. This included mostly the same features, but this time HyperX added the RGB color options and introduced some new features to the microphone.
The microphone is used a lot by professional online streamers on platforms such as Twitch. There has been no reported manufacture recalls for the microphone, as well as any parts which tend to fail or malfunction. The HyperX QuadCast S is one of the brand's best microphones on the market. The retail of the microphone as of now is $160 USD.
Unfortunately, HyperX does not ship internationally for its US-located stores, making it harder to obtain any HyperX product outside the US. You may need to use a US-based shipping forwarding service if you are ordering from outside the US.
Identification
The HyperX QuadCast S has a very similar model to its predecessor the HyperX QuadCast. Their dimensions are the same that being, 9.84x5.08x4.06 inches (LxWxH). The main difference between the two is that the HyperX QuadCast S model has full RGB control and will not only be colored red when active. The HyperX QuadCast S model also uses a USB-c while the original QuadCast does not. It’s important to pay attention to the box of the microphone since they’re clearly labeled “S” if it's the QuadCast S model.
