The Toshiba Encore Mini is a 16 GB Windows tablet with a 7-inch screen. It weighs only 12.5 ounces, compared to the original Toshiba Encore tablet, which has an 8-inch screen and weighs 15.7 ounces. The mini tablet was released November 2, 2014.
The major selling point of this tablet is that it runs Windows 8.1 and only costs around $100, depending on the seller. The tablet's small size makes it ideal for use as a simple, portable device. It can fit into virtually any purse or bag. Most other Windows OS tablets cost upwards of $300, are equipped with screens larger than 8 inches, and weigh 16 ounces or more.
The Toshiba Encore Mini features a 0.3 MP front-facing camera and a 2 MP rear-facing camera.
