What is the ilo?
The ilo device is an in-house Mp3 player made for the Wal-mart Corporation and is manufactured by Siren Audio, in Waco, Texas.
The ilo mp3 player uses a single AAA battery. It uses a Mini USB port for transferring songs from your PC and has a expandable SD/MMC card slot that is compatible with up to a 512mb card.
The ilo was manufactured in multiple colors and capacities, including: 256mb, 512mb, 1gb and 2gb all having different cosmetic looks unique to their model. The earlier 256mb and 512 mb models were elongated and red and gray in color. The 2gb is more of a square shape and come in a variety of colors.
Packaging
The device is sold with the AAA battery included as well as the USB cable. Some newer models come with headphones and a belt clip. Preloaded music tracks and/or free downloads for new tracks are also included in some models.
History
There is not much information to be found in regards to the history of the ilo. Assuming from reviews the ilo mp3 player was manufactured sometime in 2004. A 1 gb model is still sold today but has a new style and packaging.
