Joel, hebräisch יוֹאֵל deutsch ‚JHWH ist Gott‘, altgriechisch Ιωηλ, lateinisch Ioel, bezeichnet einen Propheten im Tanach (vollständig: hebräisch יֹואֵ֖ל בֶּן־פְּתוּאֵֽל [], deutsch ‚Joel, der Sohn Petuëls‘; aus Juda) und die von ihm verfasste Schrift. Sie gehört zum Zwölfprophetenbuch und stellen teil der sogenannten Joeliten dar.
