The ASUS Transformer Book T100TA was released in October 2013, by ASUSTeK Computer Inc. This model of the ASUS Transformer Book is the first in the series, having the smallest screen size of 10.1 inches. Compared to later models in the series, the standard T100TA is all black while the T200 and T300 Transformer Books have black shells with silver interiors.

The shell of the T100TA has the iconic ASUS concentric circles design, which gives the laptop a sleek and eye-catching appearance. Its 10.1-inch screen has an HD resolution of 1366x768 pixels and has a touchscreen capacity of up to ten simultaneous gestures.
