Background and Identification

The Dell Precision M3800 mobile workstation was released to the public in January of 2015. Although, the company does not refer to it as an ultrabook, it fits in the category because it is only 18mm thick, and weighs only 1.88kg because the base frame is made of carbon fiber and aluminum. At the time of release, Dell advertised this laptop as one of the thinnest 15 inch laptops. This laptop was aimed towards content creators and engineers who are looking for a portable computer that can handle running professional software. This computer was perfect for these people because it has a fourth generation Intel Core i7 processor, a battery life over 10 hours, up to 16GB of ram, an mSATA port, and a 2.5-inch HDD.
