Troubleshooting

Track down various problems using the Razor A Troubleshooting Guide.

Identification and Background

The Razor A has several characteristics that distinguish it from other scooters in the Razor line. It lacks the wheelie bar and shock-absorbing front wheel present in the A2 model, or the larger wheels found in the A3 model. It also differs from the Razor Pro, which is made of aircraft grade aluminum and contains higher grade wheel bearings and thicker foam handlebars.

The Razor A is the original folding kick scooter. Micro Mobility Solutions developed the scooter in 1999, and Razor USA produces it to this day. Extremely popular with children, it has seen a rise in usage among adults, who have adapted it for sports applications. Available in many colors, it is easily recognizable by its aluminum construction, folding steering column, and colored plastic wheels, as well as the curved brake pad over the rear wheel.
