The Acer Chromebook C720-2827 was released in the year of 2013. This version of the Chromebook offers a sleeker and lighter design while offering double the battery life of the previous models (~8.5 hours). Along with the improved battery life this version also features a sturdier build quality than any of the previous models. Specifically, the hinges are stiff enough to not feel flimsy, and the body of the Chromebook does not flex or bend.
This version of the Chromebook features a 16GB solid state drive and 2GB of memory. It also supports HDMI, USB 3.0/2.0, headphone output, as well as a 2 in 1 SD card reader. Additionally the Chromebook has an HD integrated webcam and microphone for video recordings or online chats.
The Acer Chromebook C720-2827 was replaced by the Acer Chromebook C730 in 2014.
