 Background

Released in January 2017, The Acer Predator 17 G9-791 was Acer’s second gaming laptop. This red and black laptop is heavy, weighing 9.08 pounds, but it comes equipped with a 17.3-inch Full HD widescreen LED-backlit IPS display, which is 1.7 inches larger than the Predator 15, Acer’s first gaming laptop. The Predator runs Windows 10 operating system with an Intel Core i7-6700HQ Quad Core Processor 2.6GHz. The Predator G9-791 also comes with four USB 3.0, one USB 3.1, an HDMI DisplayPort, mic and earphone ports, an SD card reader, and local area network (LAN) connectivity.

The original selling price for the base version was between $1300 and $2000; since its release, there have been no recalls. Acer also released the Triton and the Helios Predator Gaming Laptops, which are the only two models currently on the market. The Predator 17 G9-791 is still a competitive and high-performing gaming laptop.
