The IdeaPad S340-15IWL (model number: ‎81N8001LUS) was one of several laptops released by Lenovo in April 2019, along with the C340 and S540 models. The releases continued Lenovo’s recent line of IdeaPad laptops, and included several slight hardware variations at different price points.

The S340-15IWL features a 15.6-inch monitor and a lid capable of rotating up to 180 degrees, as well as two USB 3.0 ports, a USB-C port, an HDMI output, an auxiliary headphone jack, an SD card slot, and an AC power input. The S340-15IWL also features removable RAM sticks and an additional hard drive slot for potential upgrade options.

The S340-15IWL comes in either black or silver, with a small Lenovo logo present on the bottom-right corner of the monitor lid.

Lenovo discontinued the S340 series in 2021.
